Sharjah Indian School, owned and managed by Indian Association Sharjah, is one of the leading and most sought after senior secondary schools in UAE imparting quality education at affordable cost. Our vision “Educate, Enlighten, Empower” has been tested over the years, proved to be effective and successful time and again, accepted and appreciated by the community in general and the school fraternity in particular.The school which had a humble beginning in 1979 today has got more than 8000 students and 500 staff members on roll. Sharjah Indian school has been granted permission to introduce CBSE-i As a person associated with this great institution for the last three decades, I feel a sense of satisfaction and pride. My joy knows no bounds when our distinguished alumni who hold respectable positions in society come back to us to enroll their wards at Sharjah Indian School.

The scientific and technological advances in the contemporary world have contributed much in the education sector. The challenges they throw open to the educators are so dynamic and so forceful that they need to be vigilant to upgrade their skills and ensure stress free learning to the learners thereby making themselves and the Learners 'life long learners'. Besides in recent years there has been a surge of interest in how children think and learn and in the way that the brain works. It is not enough to see our children as empty vessels to be filled with facts, skills and knowledge. They are unlit fires just waiting for us to spark the touch paper and ignite an interest in thinking about how and why the world around them works.

Quality education is the only way to national development, survival and contributing to a better world order. The system of education gets changed and modified with the changing needs and aspirations of the society. The Indian system of education has a solid foundation . It incorporates relevant content and introduces innovations in methodology in keeping with the global needs and identifying the unique nature of each learner . Realizing the significance of creative and independent thinking ability, child centered and activity based process has been introduced.

"A human being is a positive asset and a precious national resource which needs to be cherished, nurtured and developed with tenderness and care coupled with dynamism" and to reach this goal a sound education system is the basic requirement.

Good education is a process of developing the human personality in all its dimensions-intellectual, physical, social, moral and spiritual- and this can be achieved only through the collective effort of the society as a whole.

Sharjah Indian School has been fortunate enough to enjoy in large measures the unstinted co-operation between the parent who is the first teacher and the teacher who is the second parent. With this strong bond, the hard work of our responsible and well disciplined students and the timely assistance of the management, the school has been achieving almost 100% success in CBSE X & XII examinations.
